Welcome, May!

This month will be full of excitement as we prepare for our Kindergarten Carnival!  

Our special colour for this month is YELLOW. Let's hope we see more of that yellow sun!

Our alphabet adventures will continue with the letters v/v/ and z/z/. As we explore each letter, we will focus on naming each one, printing each letter, learning its sound and identifying it by finding objects around us. We will also continue our writing activities. Always sound out your words when writing at home and remember to read daily. 

Our Math explorations will continue as we revisit measurement activities. We will continue making combinations of numbers to 10 and printing number sentences (ex. 6 + 4 = 10). 

In Science, we will continue learning about growth and change as we explore various life cycles and we will take a closer look at plants.

As always, please remember to be prepared for outside play, including applying sunscreen before coming to school when necessary.
