Getting ready for Christmas!!
The month of December is a FUN one indeed!!
BUT......
We still have work to do!!!
REINDEER RUN!!!!!
In Religion we learned about the 'Festival of Lights', Hanukkah! Ruth told us that Hanukkah is a Jewish celebration that occurs in November or December.
We made Menorahs and Dreidels.
We decided to examine the roots of our pumpkin plants and see what happens to the plant in the soil. We observed that the roots had grown very long and went deep down into the soil reaching the bottom of the cups we planted the seeds in. The little seeds we planted had grown up and out of the soil AND grown down deep into the soil. SO COOL!!!!
Having FUN with Ms. Smith in the STEAM Room!
ACTIVE LIVING!!
It is very important to keep our bodies healthy!!
Spreading Christmas Cheer!!!!
We made Christmas cards for Ms. Humphries, Mr. Ivany, Ms. Snook and Ms. Powell!!
We are thankful for all their hard work!!!
We made snowmen ornaments to hang on the school Christmas Tree!
Enjoying the last few days before Christmas Holidays!!!
In Religion we met a puppet friend Peter who is a Christian and celebrates Christmas.
We talked about Santa Claus and the Baby Jesus.
As a school we listened to a Mummers Story, had guest mummers and danced to the Mummers Song!!
Santa wrote us back.....we ALL made the NICE list.....EVEN
Ms. Clancey!!!!
There was never any doubt!!!!!
LOOK AT OUR PUMPKIN PLANTS GROW!!!
Jingles our school Elf used his Christmas Magic to grow big on the last day of school. He is heading back to the North Pole to give his final report to Santa on how good we ALL have been!!
It certainly has been a fun and busy month.
I wonder what delightful things will happen next month!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!
