WE ARE THANKFUL!!!

As a class we brainstormed ALL the things we have to be Thankful for!!

We enjoyed our very first school Thanksgiving Assembly.....

AND had lots of FUN making turkey puppets.

In Science we talked about the seasons and changes in the weather.

We went outside and sang the story 'The Leaves Are Falling One By One' by Steve Metzger and then we had fun in the leaves!

In Social Studies we talked about NEEDS and WANTS.

We played a fun SMARTBoard game and then charted our learning.

We read the story 'Five Spooky Ghosts Playing Tricks at School' by Steve Metzger, listened to and role played Five Little Ghosts song then made spooky ghosts of our own!

We learned about 3-D shapes and how to describe them.

Ms. Duke read a story 'Robbie the Robot'!

We had so much fun exploring and building with 3-D shapes!!!!

We read and discussed the story 'Big Pumpkin' by Erica Silverman then we role played!!!

In Math we talked about subitizing.

Here we are playing a dice game.

In science we learned about pumpkins. We made predictions whether or not a pumpkin would float, and had so much fun carving, feeling and smelling our pumpkin.
