Bobby T. Dillard, Ed.D. is an educational leader, consultant, and professor with over 20 years of experience advancing mathematics education and school leadership. He currently serves as Chair of Secondary Education and Assistant Professor at National Louis University, where he develops innovative teacher preparation programs, including Illinois’ first approved Math Specialist endorsement.
Dr. Dillard’s career spans roles as a mathematics consultant, director of school leadership, and curriculum facilitator, where he has coached principals, instructional leaders, and teachers to improve student outcomes through systems thinking and research-based practices. He has led large-scale professional development initiatives, designed improvement frameworks, and partnered with school districts nationwide to align teaching practices with rigorous standards.
Grounded in his core values of systems thinking, team building, and inclusivity, Dr. Dillard continues to shape the future of education by preparing the next generation of educators and supporting schools in building sustainable models for continuous improvement.
