All students must pass the content test for their primary area of endorsement in order to be admitted to the MAT:SEC program and for licensure. Students may pass additional content tests to add subsequent teaching endorsements. Requirements for adding subsequent teaching endorsements vary and you should consult with your Advisor if you are interested in adding additional endorsements.

*After you register for the test, you will have access to a free practice test. Registration does not require selecting a test date, and you can test up to one year after completing registration.

World Language Content Area Tests
Additional World Language and Target Language Proficiency (TLP) exams available on the ILTS Website Testing page.
Students who meet any of the following criteria are eligible for accommodations during their test:
Students with disabilities
Students for whom English is not a primary language
Nursing mothers
Students requesting accommodations must:
1. Register for the test and pay the fee.
2. Submit a completed Alternative Testing Arrangements Request Form and any additional documentation required.
3. Wait to receive approval on your request. Most students receive an update on their request within 3 weeks of submitting the paperwork.
4. Once approval is received, students can select the date/time/test center and finalize registration for the test.
Note: Pre-approval is required BEFORE the test day or the center will not honor the alternative
