Join us for a thought-provoking keynote presentation, "Creating a Sound Foundation for STEM Education," focused on forging a shared vision for STEM education among diverse stakeholders. This session will examine how a unified approach to STEM education can inspire and prepare students to pursue STEM interests and careers. We will explore the critical role of coherence among educators, policymakers, and industry leaders in aligning instructional priorities and investments to ensure students gain the necessary foundational knowledge in math and science necessary for applied learning in the fields of engineering, technology, and computer science. Providing STEM Opportunities to Students and Educators in Grades 6-12 across Northeast Tennessee
STEM.LD is an $8 million federal research grant project intended to increase student participation and improve student outcomes in STEM courses.
STEM.LD provides educators with
high-quality professional learning to increase their instructional knowledge in STEM fields
training to implement STEM-focused student clubs or competition teams
STEM.LD provides students with
advanced STEM coursework options
opportunities to participate in STEM-focused out-of-school time (OST) activities like camps, clubs, or competitions
