Where To Begin
Checking in
You may check in to this event any time between 7:15-8:00 a.m. Name tags and participant packets will be available at the check-in table near the building entrance (blue tag on Building T), and everyone's day will begin with a keynote address in TEC Room 051.
Planning Your Day
Review the session schedule, session descriptions, and presenter biographies before the conference. We recommend having a few options in mind for each session block since sessions will be first come/first served with a maximum of 15-20 participants depending on the session. If a session has reached maximum capacity, the presenter will display a sign on the door. Some sessions will repeat throughout the day, so if you miss it during one block, chances are it will be offered again later in the day.
Locating Your Sessions
Most sessions will take place in the TEC (Building T), but the two listed below will be in Hamilton Hall (Building F):
"Instructional Strategies to Support Phenomenon-Based Teaching"
"Empowering Students with the Tools of Tomorrow: Teaching Synthetic Biology and Genetic Engineering"
Participation Certificates
At the end of the day, you will be given a feedback survey link and QR code. This survey must be completed to receive credit for the day (6 hours). All certificates will be sent to the email listed on the feedback survey, so make sure it is entered correctly.
