Laila and Hoda

Laila (Grade 5) and Hoda (Grade 6) are sisters who are both excelling in their chosen sport of swimming.


Laila recently won 3 medals in the Al Wasl Swimming competition held at Al Wasl Sports Club, while Hoda, whose a regular in swimming competitions, also won a medal at the APEX Development Competition held at Hamdam Sports Complex.

At Nibras, we celebrate the accomplishments of our students inside and outside the classroom. We encourage our students to be active and to pursue various interests outside school.

 Laila (Grade 5) and Hoda (Grade 6) are sisters who are both excelling in their chosen sport of swimming.

 Laila recently won 3 medals in the Al Wasl Swimming competition held at Al Wasl Sports Club, while Hoda, who is a regular in swimming competitions, also won a medal at the APEX Development Competition held at Hamdam Sports Complex. When asked about their most memorable swimming competition, both admitted that all the tournaments they joined were special. They even have a story for every medal they got since they started competing!

 Both Laila and Hoda are geared to join more swimming competitions in the future. We at Nibras are rooting for them.

Amir M

We congratulate Amir M., a Grade 4 student at our school, for achieving first place in the 5th Edition of the Fujairah International Piano Competition. Amir began his musical journey at the age of five and takes pleasure in composing and playing music on the piano. His mother, Ms. Valeriya, described Amir's dedicated preparation for the competition, with daily practice sessions after school and on weekends. 

Sarah Khan

It is our pleasure to officially extend our congratulations to Sarah Khan, a talented girl studying in Grade 8, for the third success of the Sheffield School Quran competition among schools in Dubai. She has always dedicated her time for Quran recitation from her school time and weekends as well. This is a great achievement that she has got today due to passion and hard working she has displayed daily. We are overly elated about the news and would like to congratulate Sarah for this remarkable accomplishment.

Omar Imam

We are happy to announce that, The Mazameer Aal Dawoud Holy Quran Competition at the American School of Creative Science has announced Omar Imam, a Grade 11 student, as one of its finalists. This award honors the best and most dedicated person for Quran recitation and the award goes to Omar.

Hud Saiyed

Meet Hud Saiyed, a graduate of Nibras International School and a talented student with autism whose creativity and artistic prowess shine brightly as he showcases his achievements to the world through this Yearbook. Despite facing challenges in communication and social interactions, Hud finds his voice through journalism and creative writing. 

Hud's interest in creative writing is shown through his profound love for poetry. His poems are lyrical expressions of his emotions, thoughts, and observations. Through carefully chosen words and evocative imagery, Hud's poetry delves into themes of resilience, identity, and the beauty of nature. His verses resonate with readers, offering glimpses into his rich inner world and the complexities of his experiences as an autistic individual. 

Hud's journey is one of resilience and determination. From a young age, he discovered his passion for creative expression as a means of self-discovery and connection with others. His participation in poetry and literary events allows him to share his unique perspective and inspire others through his writing. 

Through supportive environments and tailored educational strategies, he has participated in several competitions to demonstrate his love for creative writing.
