Autism Center Visit

One remarkable project this year was our volunteer experience  with the Sharjah Autism Center. Through this experience, the NHS students immersed themselves in understanding the autism spectrum firsthand. Spending time with the students at the center was eye-opening; the students actively participated in their small-group activities, such as art and music sessions, while offering community service and support.

Following our visit, NHS students felt inspired to raise awareness about autism within our school community. They created and presented informative Autism Awareness presentations during homeroom sessions with middle and high school students.

This initiative aimed to foster understanding and acceptance while encouraging empathy and support for individuals on the autism spectrum and strengthening Nibras as an inclusive community.
