Mr. Kevin Fallon

This is Mr. Fallon's 25th year in music education and his 3rd year as Head Band Director at Worthington Middle School. Prior to opening Worthington M.S. in 2023, Mr. Fallon was Band Director & AP Music Theory instructor at Boswell H.S. from 2015-2023, and served as Band Director at Azle Jr. High from 2011-2015 and Riverton H.S. (Utah) from 2005-2011. Prior to beginning his band directing career, he taught the marching band, concert ensembles, jazz ensembles, and low brass studio lessons & masterclasses at American Fork H.S. (Utah). He also served on the low brass faculty for the Crescent School of Music in Utah and on the instructional staff for the Blue Devils and Yamato Drum & Bugle Corps. Most recently, Mr. Fallon was the brass caption head of the Crossmen Drum & Bugle Corps 50th Anniversary Alumni Corps, which celebrated a memorable performance at the 2024 Drum Corps International (DCI) World Championships in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Mr. Fallon earned a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Brigham Young University, and a Master of Music in Conducting & Pedagogy from Sam Houston State University. His professional affiliations include the Texas Music Educators Association, the Texas Bandmasters Association, the National Association for Music Education, the National Band Association, the Jazz Education Network, the Percussive Arts Society, the International Tuba-Euphonium Association, BD Performing Arts, and the American Society of Composers, Authors, & Publishers. Mr. Fallon is also an active adjudicator, clinician, and guest conductor.

Mr. Fallon and his wife, Melissa, met as performing members of the 21-time DCI World Champion Blue Devils Drum & Bugle Corps from Concord, California. They have been happily married since 1999 and now reside in Fort Worth, where they support four talented & accomplished young adults: Connor, Meghan, Nolan, & Colin.

Mr. Fallon enjoys time with his family, cooking, traveling nationally & internationally, visiting National Parks, hiking, camping, attending live concerts and performances--especially those involving his children, playing his tuba, and he is constantly trying to learn new things.
