Provides a consistent, organisation-wide approach to building and maintaining relationships with the health and care research community, harnessing expertise and strengthening collaboration across and beyond the RDN. Stakeholder Engagement supports the gathering and sharing of intelligence to inform decision making, ensuring engagement activities are aligned with strategic goals and policy requirements.
Its core role is to build and maintain meaningful, two-way relationships with key system partners, policy makers, and regulatory bodies. By mapping existing routes of engagement and identifying participation gaps, the function ensures the RDN is strategically represented on multi-stakeholder groups and that its service offerings are promoted through high-impact events and collaborations.
This function evaluates engagement effectiveness and centres on a real-time platform to capture, categorise, and synthesise intelligence from all engagement activities. This ensures shared internal learning, consistent messaging, and proactive RDN response to system-wide feedback.
