05/10/2026: Strategic Development an Planning, Performance and Impact function pages updated with additional operational details and supporting information content.

02/10/2026: Added supporting document section to the cluster page for Public Involvement, Engagement and Inclusion. Included description of the visual diagram alongside the link.

28/09/2026: Business Solutions and Programmes Function page supporting document updated to new Toolkit document

09/09/2026: Clause 13.3.1 Reinstated to provide clarity of expectations regarding RDN monies being treated as a separate budget. 

The Operating Framework landing page has been updated to note the dynamic nature of the current Operating Framework, the incorporation of relevant POF Support Pages within the POF site and the addition of an index page, summarising all supporting documents linked to the Operating Framework.

17/08/2026: Study Support & Specialist Commerial Services Delivery Group name has changed to Research Delivery Advice Service Delivery Group. The Operating Framework Homepage, cluster pages, Function page and index have been updated accordingly.

17/08/2026: Following the standing down of the External Relations Delivery Group, the Functions have been reallocated to other delivery groups. The Operating Framework Homepage, Delivery Group cluster pages and Function pages and section numbering has been updated accordingly. An index page has been added, detailing all the SOPs, guidance and supporting documents linked to the Operating Framework.

23/07/2026: PSP083 has been updated with link to NIHR Learn.

09/07/2026: The following POF Support Pages (already published on the PSP site) have been added to the site and linked from the relevant Operating Framework function pages: PSP006, PSP007, PSP021, PSP040, PSP059, PSP069, PSP083, PSP091, PSP092, PSP095, PSP096, PSP099, PSP100, PSP101, A revised PSP004 has also been added.
