Clinical Research Network West MidlandsĀ

Primary Care

NIHR funds, enables and delivers world-leading health and social care research that improvesĀ

people's health and wellbeing and promotes economic growth

Clinical Research Network West Midlands (CRN WM) is hosted by The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust

As the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Clinical Research Network West Midlands (CRN WM), we provide the infrastructure that allows high-quality clinical research to take place in our area, so that patients can benefit from new and better treatments. We help to increase the opportunities for patients to take part in clinical research and ensure that studies are carried out efficiently.

We also support the Government’s Strategy for UK Life Sciences by improving the environment for clinical research (including commercial research) in the West Midlands.

TheĀ  CRN WM provides researchers with the practical support they need to make clinical studies happen in the NHS and beyond, so that more research takes place across the region, and more patients can take part.
