What is a CRP Engagement Lead?

The CRP Engagement Leads network was created to support Clinical Research Practitioners (CRPs) with professional registration and development.

The current CRP Engagement Leads were appointed by the regional Workforce and People Senior Managers. They each represent one of the 12 Regional Research Delivery Networks in England or the devolved nations. All of them are dedicated to advancing the role of CRPs in the UK research delivery workforce by encouraging CRP registration.

The CRP Engagement Leads come from a range of different backgrounds, such as:

Clinical Research Team Leads
Learning and Development Teams
Workforce and People Senior Managers

What do CRP Engagement Leads do?

Provide advice and support for CRPs applying to the AHCS Accredited Register for CRPs
Actively look for opportunities to increase awareness of the CRP role
Keep partner organisations and their workforce updated about current developments
Work with others to promote events and other activities that support CRP registration
Play a key role in developing the CRPs community of practice
Help to organise local meetings and other communication channels for CRPs
