After a rigorous process of review, the University of the Philippines Cwm Zena'na Scholarship Program Committee has finally selected a very deserving candidate for the UP Cwm Zena'na Scholarship for the academic year 2025-2026.
With her genuine charm and authenticity, Ms. Ayesha Resia C. Maralit, an incoming third-year student, impressed the selection panel—making her a truly deserving recipient of this prestigious scholarship.
Ayesha joined organizations and grew alongside it, shaping both her identity and her mission. She is driven by a deep aspiration to inspire others and is passionate about giving back to the community, most notably by sharing her knowledge with the children. Ayesha dreams of making a lasting impact and leaving a legacy as a woman who made a meaningful difference in the geoscience community.
Consistent with the organization’s objectives to strengthen and support national development through science, Cwm Zena'na has always believed in the potential of Filipina geoscientists. Through this scholarship, the organization helps turn that potential into a reality by supporting deserving female students in the field of geoscience.
To everyone who offered their support and assistance in relaunching this program last March 2025, we extend our heartfelt appreciation and sincere gratitude.
As we go forward to the next academic year, we continue to rely on your invaluable support. We are steadily progressing toward our funding goal. With your generosity, it can help us reach the goal even sooner.
