We are proud to introduce an extraordinary individual that truly reflects the spirit and heart of a woman in the geosciences, just in line with the celebration of National Women's Month! 💜

Ms. Karmina Aquino, fondly nicknamed "Minay", is an inspiring figure in the geosciences, as displayed by her status as a Magna Cum Laude graduate and a Top 6th placer in the 2014 Philippine Geology Licensure Examination! In between her staking strides in the field,  Ms. Minay takes her well-deserved breaks as a "plan-tita" of plants with ages varying from seedlings to 4-year-old lemon plants.  🌱

Currently, she focuses her research on alternative energy resources we can utilize in the Philippines, specifically hydrogen. ⚛️

We look forward to seeing Sis. Minay take her chosen field by storm even further with her passion and determination, inspiring other young scientists in a more sustainable future.
