Sis Ma. Mylene Martinez-Villegas is a beacon of inspiration who continues to leave an indelible mark on her journey, broke barriers, and paved the way as the first FEMALE Deputy Director of PHIVOLCS 🌟

Dr. Decibel V. Faustino-Eslava is a professor at the School of Environmental Science and Management, University of the Philippines, Los Baños. With her dedication and expertise, she illuminates paths for future generations of environmental leaders, exemplifying excellence in academia and public service.

Beyond her professional achievements, she takes enormous pride in being a "wonderful" wife (according to her) and a dutiful mother. She admits that, as a woman, the constant struggle to balance work and family is real, but one thing must remain clear: one should not feel guilty for whichever takes precedence. After all, whatever we do for one reflects on the other. 

Proudly presenting our Alumna of the Month, Ms. Jasmine Consuelo D. Urquico is a Project Geologist in the mining industry. She celebrated her Bachelor's and Master's degree in Geology at UP Diliman with flying colors with the honors of Cum Laude and Excellence in Graduate Studies, respectively.

Get to know her as the woman she is today, a product of soul-searching and surrounding herself in everything she loves. Passionate she may be for geosciences, her greatest passion remains in loving her two beautiful daughters for who they are. Did we also mention that she plays Call of Duty and spends time as a bread and pastry chef?
