Ms. Amelia de Guzman has always been the institutional memory of Cwm Zena’na! Being one of its founding members and a constant face in any Cwm event, get-together, or in the simplest of hangouts, Sis Amy has witnessed the growth of the organization through the decades. She still continues to promote Gender Equality and Women Empowerment in her line of work being part of her agency’s Gender and Development Focal Point System. With this, it is our pleasure to feature her as Cwm Zena’na’s January Alumna of the Month! We look forward to seeing you again in our next (hopefully face-to-face) gathering, Sis Amy!

As part of the first batch of applicants of Cwm Zena’na, Ms. Gina Javier-Pascual was not afraid of committing to a young and rising organization. Two years after her residency, she then selflessly served as the organization’s President. Her never-ending support for Cwm has not gone unnoticed through the years. With this, it is our pleasure to feature her as our Alumna of the Month for February! We, your sisters, are always here to cheer you on with life as you continue to build a flourishing career in managing the environment! 

An embodiment of women's leadership, Ms. Liza Manzano has risen above the ranks to be the Chief Geologist of the Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) Lands Geological Survey Division! She was part of the first batch of applicants of Cwm Zena’na, and through the years, has never failed to empower women to take the stage in a male-dominated field. It is our pleasure to feature Sis Liza Socorro Juanico-Manzano as the March Alumna of the Month, which is indeed a fitting way to end Women’s Month! We are constantly here to cheer you on as you take great strides in being an "agent of change for the better"! 

As the Head of the Geology Department at Lone Star College in Texas, U.S.A, Ms. Chit Letargo has unceasingly displayed her passion for teaching young minds about the beauty of our planet! Despite her distance from the Philippines, her warmth and jolliness transcend oceans. She was one of the founding members of Cwm Zena’na and also became President during its infant years. Thus, it is our great delight to feature Sis Chit as the April Alumna of the Month! Thank you for showing us that no matter how far you are, you are willing to take leaps for the people close to your heart ♥️
