Community Service Information

20 Hours of Community Service is a graduation requirement for James Logan High School (100 or more for Puente Students) and due April of your senior year. They CANNOT be completed at a private/personal business, whether you get paid or not. They also CANNOT be done helping at home or helping family members with any type of work where there is personal gain.

  The purpose of community service is for you to better the community or communities you are part of without any financial or personal gain. This is where you can be an active and important member of those communities and leave a positive impact on society.

James Logan High School Students!

Volunteers are needed to help with the Clean Up and preparation for our Bazaar this summer.

 

 Saturday: 9:30 AM – 11:30 PM

 

Come to Sangha Hall which is the big building behind the church.

Wear casual clothes. If sunny, bring a hat to be outside.

Tasks include Removing weeds, cleaning/mopping floors , etc.

 

Please bring a copy of the form available in the Career Center to receive Community Service Credits.

Snacks and drinks provided.

We are looking for bilingual students to volunteer to help support others.  If you are available and willing to volunteer, please contact me, Ms. Petitt (kpetitt@nhusd.k12.ca.us), or come by on Tuesday in room 307 at 3:45!  You will earn community service hours for your time.

When: Tuesdays after school (3:45-4:45)

Where: Room 307

What: Support other students with their homework, learn to navigate Logan, and be a mentor and friendly person other students can turn to for support
