Jefferson Street Baptist Center recently opened a Women\'s Day Shelter from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM Monday-Friday " hours when homeless women in cities are surprisingly most vulnerable. The Women\'s Day Shelter provides a safe place where women can find rest, snacks, do laundry, take showers, build friendships, and learn together. There is no cost to visit or stay in the Women\'s Day Shelter.
