The vision of North Harrison High School is to provide a collaborative learning environment that encourages each student to realize their fullest potential academically and socially.
Mission
The mission of the North Harrison High School School Counseling Department is to promote a positive school climate by empowering every student to self-advocate, which will give them necessary skills to be independent and responsible for their academic success, college and career planning, and social/emotional well-being. Ultimately, creating successful and confident citizens who will be active leaders that contribute to the community.

About me
I have three beautiful children (Finn, Jonas, and Elsie) with my wonderful husband Joe. I graduated from Corydon High School.
The 2020-2021 was my first school year as a school counselor at NHHS. I completed my student teaching at NHHS in 2009 and I coached track for multiple years along side my husband (Joe). I taught family and consumer science courses at Salem High School for three years, Corydon Central High School for two years, and was a school counselor at Crawford County Middle School for four years. I have a Bachelor's of Science in Secondary Education (Social Studies) from IUS, a Master's in Counseling from Campbellsville University with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy, and my School Counseling and Building Level Administration license from Indiana Wesleyan University.
I am working with all Freshmen and Sophomores. I look forward to working with you and your family this school year. Please reach out if you need anything.

Updates for the IDOE will be recognizing Perkins V Next Level Programs of Study for the required CTE pathway guidelines. This will mean changes to course planning for students who plan to graduate using CTE pathway courses. Other changes: Economics will no longer be counted as a quantitative reasoning class.

If they mention they are a NHHS student they will get the rate at $375 (Rate as of January 2021)- that covers the 30 hours of classroom done online and 6 hours of driving.

Convenient pick-up for students at their home, school, or work for each driving lesson.
Total Cost: $405
Extra Options
Additional driving lessons beyond the included six hours can be scheduled for $65/hr. ($375 total cost for six hours).
2024 NHHS Summer School

North Harrison High School will be offering summer school for students who need to recover credits in an effort to support students stay on track for their diploma and graduation plan. If you feel your student needs to recover credits based on this year's performance please complete this summer school registration form or complete a hardcopy of the form to submit it to the school counseling office ASAP; students needing transportation please reference the bus stops on the NHCS website under New and Announcements.
Summer school will be offered in-person Dates TBA (End May, two weeks), from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., there will be no classes on Memorial Day holiday.
