Internet Expansion in Harrison County
The GEER Grant was a grant written by the Harrison County Schools to help expand internet access throughout the county. As part of that grant, there will be additional zones in the county that will now have access to high speed internet and the grant can help pay for one year of service for families that qualify.
The form is to help collect information of who lives in the new zones of expansion and whether or not we can help them in connecting to service.
If you do not currently have internet service, I would encourage you to fill out the form. While we can’t guarantee that the grant will be able to connect any specific homes, this information will allow us to help connect some families of our students should they qualify.
Please share this with anyone that you feel may benefit. I will be sending out via School Messenger as well.
