Asynchronous Learning (Variety)

Asynchronous Learning:

Learning that does not occur at the same place or same time as the provider. It is specially designed by the teacher or itinerant staff and the student will perform the learning tasks without direct teacher supervision but may require adult supervision at home. The staff member monitors progress and provides feedback and is available for questions or guidance.

Examples may include:

● Prerecorded video lesson

● Guided Practice (worksheets, prescribed hands-on learning activities that relate to instruction given via recorded or live lesson). Staff will provide an expectation of how long this will take.

● Supported Independent Practice (that relates to instruction given via recorded or live lesson). Staff will provide an expectation of how long this will take.

● Computer Based Instruction: The computer based instructional activities will be prescribed by the teacher and are related to content that is being taught.
