Nexus Climbathon 2018
The Nexus Climbathon (link) will be taking place on Monday the 28 of May. This event is run annually and is in support of Chora Chori an organisation in Nepal that provides support, education and housing for children that have been affected by the Nepal earthquake of 2015.
Letters and sponsorship forms were sent home on Monday 21 of May- please do encourage your children to get sponsorship for such a great cause.
Year 6 and 7 Team Building Morning this Monday to kick off the Year 6 Transition into Secondary Days
On Monday, 28 May, learners from Years 6 and 7 will be taking part in a team-building session in the morning. This is an introduction to the Year 6 ‘Transition to Secondary’ Days on the Wednesday and Thursday of that week. This will be held on the top field at Nexus International School (Singapore). The focus of the morning will be on participation in a team building environment enabling relationships to be formed between Year 6 and 7 learners from each house.
Please ensure your child brings the following items to school on the day:
- Their house t-shirt (available at Bibi & Baba). In exceptional circumstances, when you are unable to purchase the correct colour/size, a plain t-shirt of the correct colour may be used (your child’s house colour is available on the Parent Portal)
- Black/Navy HPE Shorts
- Hat
- Sun Block
- Water Bottle
- Learners may also choose to show their house spirit by wearing wigs, caps or face paint in their house colour

Nursery Mini Exhibition
On Friday, 1st of June, our Nursery learners will be showcasing their learning about 'Food Systems'. It has been a wonderful Unit of Inquiry and we are looking forward to sharing our knowledge and understanding. We do hope that all of our Nursery families can join us from 9am to 10am.
