As part of our Lunar New Year celebrations, we welcomed the Lion dancers onsite today.
It was lovely to see parents joining us for this event. And may I say a BIG thank you to the parents and NCG for the support they have provided with the Lunar Year celebrations - it is very much appreciated.
The learners have made a great start to the new term. Learning through the SDG's continues to give relevance and connections to the world around us and our community.
There are so many opportunities to connect, both inside and outside the classroom.
If you saw the freshly harvested lettuce on the L2 walkway on Wednesday, this is where it came from.
We have our very own vertical garden in the Level 2 atrium, where learners can see the amazing progress of the growing plants each day.
The Green Guardians have been learning how to harvest, rotate and clean out the plants to allow for optimum growth. We will be exploring different seedling options too, so look out for some more vegetables on sale in the coming weeks.
Next week, the Green Guardians will be harvesting some herbs from the L5 garden so if you need some basil, lemongrass, dill or mint then come and buy them fresh each Wednesday.
All proceeds will go towards further developing the edible garden opportunities.
If you are a keen gardener or just love eating fresh ingredients, then look out for a parent workshop which will be running in the L5 Garden.
