We begin the Chinese New Year (the year of the 'Rabbit') with fun and festive performances!
The LOTE Mandarin team and the Primary Music team have been busy preparing our learners (who take Mandarin lessons) for fun performances. We will be in the Multi-purpose Hall next week to showcase the many songs and dances for an audience. There will even be some Chinese drumming led by Ms Tash and Mr Chris! We look forward to seeing you there!

Monday : Singing Stars
Tuesday : Recorder & Flute Club and Primary Orchestra
Wednesday : Intermediate Ukulele & Guitar and Primary Choir
Thursday : Beginner Ukulele and Keys Club
Friday : Percussion Club
Thank you to those learners and parents who've shared an interest in joining our Primary Music Ensembles. In December, we put up a Primary Ensembles Christmas Concert which included all the participants in the ensembles and realised... more than 300 learners are involved in the Ensembles! We also noticed that nearly 90% of Primary school learners participate in at least one Music programme such as Instrumental Tuition or the Ensembles!
We thank you for the incredible amount of support. Looking forward to another amazing Season!
*Primary Choir and Primary Orchestra are still able to accept learners. If interested, please ask the learners to show up to the programme and we'll manually add them in. Or email eotc@nexus.edu.sg with name of the child and which programme they'd like to join.

As you know, Music Instrumental Tuition programmes are still very much going ahead. Should your child be interested in taking a lesson (which come with small fees), please read the information in the following website https://parentzone.nexus.edu.sg/cca and email music@nexus.edu.sg with the name of the child, year group, and which instrument they'd like to learn.
