UNDERSTANDING MYP MATHEMATICS
MYP Mathematics, like all subjects, has 4 assessment criteria. They can seem confusing and difficult to understand at first, for learners and parents alike.
The criteria and assessment tasks are most probably very different to the tests we all endured at school!
This workshop will take parents through the four assessment criteria to help develop a better understanding of each, so that we may all support our learners more.
There will be tasks to try and some to grade. We will also look at self-assessment and peer-assessment.

THE CARE: MVMT
“Now, it is time for us to act.”
Everyone dreams about the best place to live in. At Nexus, we envision a world where people care about themselves, others and the world.
With the CARE:MVMT, we advance towards our vision where everyone takes the initiative. At Nexus and the Taylor’s Schools’, we take responsibility as educators to instil a strong sense of care in those that encircle us, ensuring that they care for themselves, those close to them, their communities and the world at large.
We invite you to join us to learn more about how to think globally and act locally as e work towards making a difference. We will also share more about the numerous innovative programs that help our learners, staff and parents develop and practise the values of the CARE:MVMT.
In a call for care, concern, empathy and action, remember that everyone can make a difference, no matter how small.
