Our youngest learners have enjoyed connecting numeracy to stories and being active. Games like What's the Time Mr. Wolf? Where we practise counting our steps. Choosing how many push-ups we complete during our check-in and counting our hops. We went on a Dinosaur Dig and counted how many dino eggs we could find. 

Please ensure your child has a water bottle and appropriate footwear (trainers, no crocs or sandals) on PHE days.

As we continue our units learners are making connections between their learning in the homeroom and previous units in PHE. 

These connections ripple out beyond the classroom. The leadership and communication skills they practise prepare learners for presentations and sharing ideas. The social skills support them navigating conflict and being active and informed about health and well-being allows them to make choices that benefit their own bodies and their communities.
