Instrumental Lessons

Instrumental lessons continue in term 2 and are open to all learners. We currently have over 160 learners learning an instrument as part of the NEXUS Instrumental Programme and we are continuing to accept enrolments.

Instrumental lessons available are:

Y1-2: Violin, Viola, Cello, Piano, Ukulele and Flute

Y3-13: Violin, Viola, Cello, Piano, Drum Kit, Guitar, Ukulele, Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone and Singing

Lessons are $50 per 30 minutes.

Please note that we are offering free rental for flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet and trombone if you enrol now for lessons until the end of the school year!

I am pleased to say that we are hopeful that our music ensembles will be up and running after the holidays once restrictions have eased. We will be planning concerts too!

Restrictions can't stop us from learning Music! Nexus learners continued to display an enthusiasm for learning various areas of Music - lessons were done through Google Meet classrooms or on campus. Using this opportunity, learners actively utilised digital platforms such as Seesaw to create and share their music while learners who were on campus continued to explore a variety of concepts through innovative activities.
