The Climbathon for Nepal is coming soon!

The Nexus community's ongoing support for Chora Chori Nepal has enabled the education and well being of many children and young people in Nepal. Chora Chori continues to provide a home and a future, through vocational training and schooling, for those who are lucky enough to stay at the refuge near Kathmandu. The funds raised will go towards supporting the development of the refuge to provide facilities to cater for more children, helping them through their recovery from trauma and in many cases a lost childhood.

Sponsorship forms and further information will be coming home next week. Learners - get ready to climb for Chora Chori!

Years 6 and 7 Team Building Morning to kick off Transition Week - Monday, 3 June

On Monday, 3 June, learners from Years 6 and 7 will be taking part in a team-building session in the morning. This is an introduction to the Year 6 ‘Transition to Secondary’ Days on the Thursday and Friday of that week. This will be held on the top field at Nexus International School (Singapore). The focus of the morning will be on participation in a team building environment enabling relationships to be formed between Year 6 and 7 learners from each house.

Please ensure your child brings the following items to school on the day:

  • Their house t-shirt (available at Bibi & Baba). In exceptional circumstances, when you are unable to purchase the correct colour/size, a plain t-shirt of the correct colour may be used (your child’s house colour is available on the Parent Portal)
  • Black HPE Shorts
  • Hat and Sun Block
  • Water Bottle
  • Learners may also choose to show their house spirit by wearing wigs, caps or face paint in their house colour
