Over 20 young athletes represented our school at the ACSIS 10&U/11&U Track & Field Championships on Saturday, 4 May. Conditions at Choa Chu Kang Stadium were intermittent with delays for inclement weather. However, this provided a slightly 'cooler' environment for competitors and supporters.
Our athletes competed against the best of Singapore’s athletes across 14 schools and we achieved great success. All athletes who represented Nexus at this event displayed determination and commitment to achieve their personal bests. Many of our athletes were placed in heats and minor placings.
Congratulations to all of our young participants. And also, a huge thank you to our amazing Nexus parents who supported from the stands and our terrific coaches who guided our athletes throughout the season.

It was a real community feel at the ACSIS 8&U/9&U Track & Field Championships 2019. Choa Chu Kang Stadium host approx. 350 athletes across 13 Singapore International School's on Saturday 4 May for this annual meet.
Nexus fielded a team of 23 enthusiastic young athletes who were all extremely excited to participate in their respective events. Phenomenal dedication and commitment was shown from all participants. Unfortunately due to the weather we could not fit the 4 x 100m relays into the morning, but we were thankful to complete all of the individual events. In an impressive morning of Track & Field, Nexus finished a well deserved 4th Overall, narrowly behind TTS, Dulwich and AIS.
Congratulations to all of our Nexus athletes and their amazing supportive parents who cheered them on. This was truly a family event and was enjoyed by all. Also, a huge thank you to our fabulous Nexus track & field coaches who guided our young stars throughout the season.
