Nexus Celebrates Hari Raya Haji

Last week, all our learners in Primary School celebrated the Muslim festival of Hari Raya Haji (Eid al Adha). The children were all very proud to be wearing their finest clothes for this special occasion. At assembly, our Muslim learners shared with us what the fetsival means to them and their families.

One of the main themes of the festival is sacrifice. To represent the tradition of Korban our learners brought in masses of food items. These have been collected and sorted and will shortly be given to a food bank in Singapore.
