ACSIS (Athletic Conference of Singapore International Schools) Season 2 Sport is well under way, but if you would like to join an ACSIS sport team, please contact Bevan Moriarty.

A list of Season 2 sports and the applicable year group for each sport is provided below.

• ACSIS Season 2 ends on Saturday, 10 February.
• Sign up period for ACSIS Season 3 will commence early February.

On Wednesday we took two very excited 9&U Netball teams away to Dulwich College Singapore for their first match of the season. All girls played fantastically and we kicked the season off very well, coming away with 2 wins, 1 draw and a 2 losses. For many of the girls this was their first experience of a netball game, with them only taking up the sport this season, but all have come away very positive and even more excited for the next round.

An amazing weekend for our Nexus Swim Swim team in Bangkok, 8-11 December. 17 Schools from the South East Asia region, 38 Nexus Swimmers and 7 Nexus Staff had a successful meet at Patana School, Bangkok. Summary of results below:

If you are free on Wednesday evenings from 7pm-8pm (beginning Wednesday 1 November), you are welcome to come along and play some Parent & Children Netball (from Year 5 upwards) in the Nexus Small Gymnasium.

Nexus Parent, Jemma Chapple and Lorna Fleming, have begun this initiative as a means to connect families outside of school hours and improve general fitness and well being whilst having a bit of fun. Please note that this is run by parent volunteers.

The weekly sessions will involve warm up, drills and a match with the aim of being fun, social and open to all abilities. This weekly event is run purely on a voluntary basis and all learners attending must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.
