Welcome to Term 3 at Nexus! I do hope you all enjoyed your holidays with family and friends. I would like to take this opportunity to extend a warm welcome to the many new learners and their families that have joined us this term. Please do not hesitate to talk to staff, parents and learners if you have any questions. We all know how challenging it can be settling into a new school and perhaps a new country.
Below I have highlighted the key dates for the next few weeks. Our Primary School Learning Conferences take place on Friday, 2 February (Primary School is closed). For full details please view the 'Important Information' page.
Three other very important events are the Annual Primary Art Exhibition: 'Art Splash 2018!' which is open from 31 January to Friday, 2 February; our Chinese New Year Celebrations on the 8 and 9 February and the Interhouse Track and Field Days taking place at the end of February. Please view the 'Upcoming Events' page for more information.
Many of our community have also signed up for the Run For Hope on Sunday, 21 January. This is always a wonderful event for charity and we encourage every family to sign up and join us. Registrations re-open Tuesday - please click here to sign your family up (use code: CP002NXIS).
I wish you all a happy and healthy 2018 full of exiciting adventures. Iff you are experiencing the post-Christmas blues, I encourage you to take a look at the 'Recent Events' page to see many photos from our Christmas Fair and Carols by Candlelight. Thank you to the NPG, the Music Department and everyone involved in making these such a huge success. The Fair raised in excess of $7,000 for local charities. Well done, everyone!
