Last weekend, Nexus hosted the world-renowned International Schools' Theatre Association Festival for learners aged 7 - 9 years. 72 children attended, from schools including the Canadian International School, Dulwich College, GEMS World Academy and Nexus.

We saw a wonderful explosion of imagination and creativity from the moment they stepped through the rocket portal and were blasted into deep space! The amazingly decorated auditorium provided a remarkable backdrop for the event and fully demonstrated the remarkable talents we have working for us (particularly Monica de Waal, Jeremy Lewis and Hayley Pereira). The Nexus learners participating in the Festival were a credit to the school, constantly taking risks in speaking with children from other schools and stepping outside of their comfort zone to try activities they would never have considered previously. The atmosphere was electric for the entire weekend and it was an absolute joy to be part of it. We can't wait for the next one in April, when we will be hosting Year 5 and 6 learners for across Singapore.
