Students explore the water cycle as part of the Water Transformations and Weather Units in 5th Grade.
Students collect local weather data, learn to read weather maps, and explain what causes weather and climate. They also research the different tools that meteorologists use to predict weather.
Students use hands-on materials to explore simple and parallel circuits. They learn how energy flows in a circuit and the many uses for circuits in daily life.
