This is the introductory class to the pathway.
This course addresses the knowledge, skills attitudes and behavior associated with good nutrition and wellness across the life span.
Topics that may be addressed include a study of nutrients and their relationship to good health; social and psychological aspects of health and food choices; eating disorders; safety; sanitation; basic culinary terminology; measuring; and recipe interpretation.
Every student is encouraged to become an active member of FCCLA.
