THE OFFICE OF STUDENT LEADERSHIP, INVOLVEMENT, AND TRANSITION EXPERIENCES
The Office of Student Leadership, Involvement, and Transition Experiences (SLI-TE) is excited to support our Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) in creating rewarding experiences that allow students not only to build leadership skills - but also to establish lasting connections, communities, friendships, and support!
There are many benefits to registering your student groups these include, but aren't limited to:
Reserve Campus Rooms/Spaces: When a Registered Student Organization Submits a Narwhal Nation Event Request, our office (SLI) utilizes Campus Systems to reserve a space for you. Students cannot do this independently.
Use Campus Resources: When planning an event - our office can provide helpful equipment, or procure external equipment (rental/purchase) on your behalf.
Promotion: Promote your event on a multitude of platforms (Narwhal Nation, New School Event Calendar, Instagram, Newsletters)
Funding: Provides stand-alone funding and also supports the University Student Senate in utilizing their awarded funding.
Campus Systems Access: Provides Registered Student Organizations with a non-person email account and/or a NewCard on campus.
