For our capstone project we worked on various activities. We worked with Bike Easy to help teach the freshmen class how to safely navigate through the city of New Orleans. We gathered photos of city streets, locked bikes, and anything we could find to talk about bike problems. We were on a radio show with WHIV and we talked about our experiences biking throughout New Orleans.
"The Highschool Bike Talk" was our main focus for our capstone project. Our podcast focused on us giving tips and suggestions for bikers in the greater New Orleans area. We recorded four episodes and a trailer. In each episode we talked about various "know hows" a biker should be aware of.

For my capstone project, I recorded an EP about mental health. I chose this topic because it hits home for me because mental health has impacted my family. The album has 7 songs. One song talks about the challenges being in love and dealing with mental health. Another song, The Afterlife, lets people know that it is okay to feel sad but you are not alone. You are supposed to be here. Another song, God On My Side, was written in honor of my brother and addresses mental illness, specifically insomnia and paranoia, and the struggles of thinking you are alone and not being able to handle your own demons. The song reminds us that no matter what, God is on your side. I hope that this album will open your eyes and send a message to everybody going through mental health challenges, letting them know that they are not alone and they should get the help they need.

My capstone project is a podcast that centers on the switch to online learning, and how it affected students on a personal level. I wanted to encourage students to share their thoughts on the switch to online learning, and share stories about school during the pandemic. My final product is a podcast that features reflections on online schooling during the pandemic.

For my capstone project, I wanted to tell others about the life of an immigrant in a United States. To do this, I created a podcast where I interview my mom, sharing her story while reflecting on my own. My podcast talks about the reason why we migrate, the process of the journey we took, and our life in the U.S. I hope that this podcast will help people understand what immigrants have been through so that people will be more accepting.

Immigration to the United States by Thomas H
I made a podcast on all the steps to follow to immigrate to the United States legally because I'm doing the process to obtain American nationality. I am trying to get citizenship because my mother and my grandmother are American and my grandmother was born in New Orleans.
