New Harmony High Class of 2022 has spent the last year learning the fundamentals of project management while building out independent community impact projects. These projects addressed the question: how can we create a more equitable, resilient, and environmentally sustainable community?

Students selected projects that addressed issues including gun violence, domestic violence, flooding, and fast fashion. They designed and implemented a variety of independent projects, such as creating a school garden, implementing green infrastructure at our school, writing zines - learning how to manage a long term, self-led project and having a tangible impact on their community.
