Hello, my name is Eliany and I am a Wraparound Coordinator working with families from Carney and Gomes Elementary Schools. I would like to evolve my skills in a challenging environment, work within a team, and provide efficient solutions for the families I work with. I am fluent in 4 languages and my job is to bridge the gap between home and school. I look forward to working and helping our New Bedford Public School families so we can have a happy and positive school year. On my personal time I try to enjoy nature as much as possible. I love hiking, climbing, fishing, skiing, horseback riding, swimming and a little archery.
Hi there! My name is Katie and I am the Wraparound Coordinator at New Bedford High School. After spending a year as our Family Engagement Specialist this is my first year as a Wrap and I can’t wait to learn together about all that our city has to offer. I hold a B.A. in English and Sociology from UMass Dartmouth, and was born and raised in Freetown, but have spent the last 9+ years living in New Bedford. I love being here and am so excited to work here now too.
When not at work, I can normally be found on stage, with the non profit theatre company that I helped to create in 2015, The Collective NB. I’ve been in over 50 productions since we started!
I look forward to meeting all of you and please know you’re always welcome at our Family Engagement Centers.

HELLO! My name is Chad N’Guia. I am a Rotational Wraparound Coordinator here at the New Bedford Public Schools, covering Roosevelt Middle School as well as Jacobs, DeValles, Taylor, and Congdon Elementary Schools. I am proud to be born and raised here in New Bedford in addition to being a graduate of New Bedford High School, class of 2014. Thereafter, I went on to receive my Bachelor’s degree from Framingham State University, with a degree in Psychology and minor in Sociology. Coming from more than 10+ years’ experience working with families of diverse backgrounds in the mental health field, I have seen firsthand the importance of family and feel that it is imperative to engage each and every relationship an individual possesses to help further enhance their overall quality of living. During my free time, I love anything that has to do with basketball, music & writing poetry, and spending hours at a time with my pup Royce! I am extremely grateful for this opportunity to help provide the needed supports to those throughout the New Bedford School district!

Who am I? I am a mother, wife, sister, daughter, friend, and many other things. These connections and relationships make me the person I am today. The power of creating strong bonds and connections means everything to me and it drives me to do the work I do here at New Bedford Public Schools as a Wraparound Coordinator. I go by the name of Crystal, but some people call me “Chris”. I was born and raised in fall river but have been working with inner city youth and families for over 10 years in the human services field. I am passionate about helping others and seeing them succeed. I often refer to this quote “Failure is not the opposite of success. It is part of Success” because I do believe we have to go through things in life to be the best versions of ourselves. As a wraparound Coordinator I will do my best to help you build those connections to strengthen your families and provide you opportunities for success.

Hi, my name is Laurelle Tetreault. I am the Wraparound Coordinator for Normandin Middle School. I also cover Lincoln, Pulaski, Swift, and Pacheco Elementary Schools. After working in sales for over ten years, I was ready for a change of career and a way to give back to the city that I love. Although I was born and raised in Acushnet, I’ve lived in New Bedford for the past 15 years. I feel like this role is perfect for me, because I’m very passionate about helping others. As a mother of two, I truly believe that “it takes a village”. I thoroughly enjoy guiding parents and caregivers to ensure that their children can be successful in school. During my free time I love to be outside, whether it’s taking my kids to the park, going to the beach, or hiking. I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to provide support to others.
