Jasmine Vega

HI! My name is Jasmine! A little about me,

I am the Lead Wraparound coordinator for New Bedford Public Schools. Before becoming the Lead wraparound coordinator, I worked one on one with families at Hayden McFadden Elementary School for 5 years. During that time there I was able to make many meaningful connects with families, staff and community partners to create the best path for your families. I am a New Bedford Native who enjoys giving back to our community! I have a bachelor's degree in human services from Fisher College with a minor in Early Education. I come from a Hispanic home in which made me who I am today. I am bilingual in Spanish and English. Although I am stationed at the main PRAB building, I will continue my work to serve our whole New Bedford community. I enjoy spending time with my family, doing something creative through my art, and coaching basketball. My motivation comes from helping my mother at a young age navigate not only our school district but also our community due to language barriers.  I will also directly overseas wraparound coordinators across the district to ensure all families have equal access to our systems. As a Lead wraparound coordinator, I hope that one day I can help connect you and your family to our school and community with the help of my wraparound team!
