Join and Start Meetings

Upcoming Meetings

From the Upcoming Meetings section of your dashboard, you can see up to four upcoming meetings, events, or training sessions. If you're the host, you can select Start whenever you're ready to start your meeting, or select Join when it's time to join someone else's meeting.

To see more upcoming meetings, events, or training sessions, you can select View all meetings in the lower left corner to see your meetings list.

You can also select Meetings on the left navigation bar to see the meetings, events, and training sessions that you have scheduled within a specified range of dates.

Search for Meetings and Recordings

You can use the search bar at the top of the page to search for your upcoming meetings and meeting recordings that you want to play back.

Edit Profile

You can edit your profile on the Webex site by selecting your name upper-right corner of your Webex site and then selecting My Profile. On the My Webex Profile page, you can select View my People Insights profile to edit or manage the People Insights information used in your meetings. You can also select Edit My Profile to edit your first name, last name, and your profile picture.

Recordings

You can access your recordings by selecting Recordings from the left navigation bar. On the My Recorded Meetings page, you can see all the recordings for Webex meetings, events, and training sessions that you've hosted or were shared with you.

Once the meeting ends, you will see a Generating status next to the recordings being processed.

For each recording, the following information is provided: the name, security settings, the date and time of the recording, the duration, its file size, and the format of the file.

From the My Recorded Meetings page, you can:

You can enable transcripts for recordings by going to Preferences > Recordings and clicking the Recording transcripts check box.

If you're using Classic View, you can enable transcripts at My Webex > Preferences > Recording.

Preferences

You can edit your preferences by selecting Preferences from the left navigation bar. There are five tabs on the Preferences page: General, My Personal Room, Audio and Video, Scheduling, and Recording.

In the General tab, you can edit your time zone, language, region, and linked accounts.

You can view the Personal Room meetings, even if the meeting was scheduled from third-party calendars. The Personal Room meetings appear on the Webex web portal, the same way as scheduled Webex meetings when they are scheduled from Google Calendar, Cisco Webex Meetings Scheduler, or from Cisco Webex Productivity Tools with the Cisco Meetings Desktop app.

The language that is used in the callback prompts is based on your Webex language settings. For more information, see Set General Preferences in Modern View in Cisco Webex Meetings.

In the My Personal Room tab, you can edit your Personal Room name, view your Personal Room link, edit your Host PIN, choose to automatically lock your Personal Room, allow others to host meetings in your Personal Room, and choose your notification settings. For more information, see Set Personal Room Preferences in Modern View in Cisco Webex Meetings.

For WBS33.8 and later users on Cisco Webex video platform version 1.0: If you set your meeting to automatically lock 0 minutes after the meeting starts, we recommend that you start your meeting from the Webex Meetings app and not from a video device. If you start your meeting from a video device, you can't unlock the meeting and admit participants. To find out which versions you’re using, see Find Your Cisco Webex Meetings Version Number.

In the Audio and Video tab, you can edit the settings for your audio connection type and entry and exit tone, edit your Call Me numbers, select whether you want to display a toll-free number and a global call-in number to attendees, and add details for your video systems. For more information, see Set Audio and Video Preferences in Modern View in Cisco Webex Meetings.

In the Scheduling tab, you can allow recordings to be shared automatically and allow other hosts to schedule meetings on your behalf. All settings except Meeting type and Scheduling permission apply only to meetings scheduled in Modern View. For more information, see Set Scheduling Preferences in Modern View in Cisco Webex Meetings.

In the Recording tab, you can create transcripts automatically for your new MP4 recordings and select the screen layout for new MP4 recordings. For more information, see Set Recording Preferences in Modern View in Cisco Webex Meetings.
