Milton Snavely Hershey was born in 1857. He lived on a farm as a kid. Milton got a job at rowers ice cream garden. In 1876 Milton opened his own caramel store. When Milton was older the caramel store closed and he moved to colorado. Milton started the lancaster caramel company and he went to chicago and bought some chocolate machines that he saw. In 1898

Milton Hershey got married to cathrine kitty sweeney. In 1900 Milton sold the lancaster caramel company. When Milton was older he

would sit in the main building and hide behind

a news paper to see what people said about him.

In l945 Milton died of pneumonia. Milton took his

last name and made the name of his chocolate.

After Milton died his chocolate lived on and now

its the most popular chocolate in the world.
