I grew up in a small town in rural Northern California, and came to the Bay Area to attend UC Berkeley. After I graduated, I started working at Nea as a special education paraprofessional. While working as a para, I went back to school to get my teaching credential. This is my 11th year at Nea and 8th year facilitating humanities in the 3-5 rotation.
I enjoy reading, gardening, yoga, playing ukulele, hanging out with my dog, and going on road trips. Once a year, you can find me driving a tractor in an apple orchard at my favorite hometown festival in Humboldt County.
I look forward to a great year working with your learners!
