Reflection
Reflection
During our clinical experience, we had to complete prep work each week for the pateitns we were assigned in the ICU. This lead to a greater understanding on the disease processes the patient was experiencing and helped us prepare to provide top-quality care to our patients.
I have grown in confidence immensely throughout the duration of my clinical and practicum experiences. Both helped improve my understanding on how to provide top-quality nursing care to my patients in a cost effectifve manner utilizing the knowledge and skills I have gained throughout the duration of my program.
When I first started my journey in the nursing program at NDSU, I lacked confidence. I knew I would be a great nurse, but I wasn't quite sure how to reach my goals. However, after gaining experience in the clinical world with fellow healthcare workers, I have not only improved my confidence level, but I have become a strong communicator and leader.
