Technology Set UP

Setup Guide for New Students

Notre Dame College Prep is a leader in using technology to enhance our students education. All students are required to purchase an Apple iPad for educational use. The iPad is a personalized learning device and provides each student access to educational technologies, digital textbooks, and communication with instructors.

All students must have an iPad capable of running iPad OS, iOS 17 or greater, with enough storage for their books and academic materials. NDCP recommends the 10.2 inch 64GB - WiFi only iPad. An iPad Pro is also acceptable, as is an iPad with 256GB of storage however iPad mini’s are not allowed. iPads can be purchased from Apple or at any authorized Apple retailer.  Please contact Notre Dame College Prep's Senior Director of Informational Technology, Deanna Herman for more information.

Setting up your School email

Student ND email accounts are used for all communications and academic work. Notre Dame College Prep uses the Google platform for email. Upon receipt of your @nddons.org email and temporary password, follow the instructions in the video below to setup your account.

Naming your iPaD

All iPads must be named to the individual student's formal name.

WiFi Access on Campus

Notre Dame College Prep has a safe and secure WiFi network in place for students while on campus. To access the Student WiFi network each student is assigned a Private Secured Key (PSK). You will receive this PSK from the WiFI Admin (aka: Mrs Herman) in your school email account. Save this message as this is your code for all four years at ND. Please contact Mrs Herman at dherman@nddons.org if you misplace it.
