FALL SPORTS INFORMATION
Cross Country
Practice days during week of New Student/Freshman Orientation: August 11-15 from 3:15-5 PM. What to wear: Athletic shorts, t-shirt and running shoes. Practice during the school year: Monday-Friday from 6-7:40 AM, unless otherwise noted. Saturday morning practices are scheduled during the season as needed.

Golf
There will be an informational meeting with Coach Pauley on Friday, August 8th at 5:30 PM in the cafeteria. Coach will have a sheet with tee time options for players to select at the meeting.
Monday, Aug. 11th - Swing critiques at the Oakton Driving Range in Skokie, 9 AM - 12 PM
Tuesday, Aug 12th and Wednesday, Aug. 13th - JV one 9 hole round at Willow Hill between 8-9 start time, Varsity 2 nine hole rounds, one with the JV guys and then one after a short break. Season starts the following day on Thursday, August 14th.

Football
Freshman Football begins on Monday, August 11th. Players will meet in the gym at 3 pm. Coach Patrick Early and his staff will give you some introductory information at that time. Shortly after the meeting, there will be a football practice from 3:30 - 5:30 pm.
Players should bring workout clothes (shorts and t-shirt) with them to change into. They should bring gym shoes and football spikes, and they should bring a water bottle. The players will be assigned a locker (most have already been assigned a locker) and given a lock (most have already been assigned a lock) to secure their clothes and equipment. Players will practice every day during the week, Aug. 11 - 15, at this time (3:00 - 5:30 pm). Mon & Tues (Aug. 11 & 12 will be helmets only). Wed. & Thurs. (Aug 13 & 14 will be helmet and shoulder pads). We will also practice on Saturday morning, Aug. 16, from 9 am - Noon (this will be the first "full pads" practice). Players will receive football equipment (helmet, shoulder pads, girdle, knee pads, football pants, and a practice jersey as they go through the week). Most players have already received a helmet, shoulder pads, girdle and practice jersey. Once school begins, the freshman football team will practice daily from 3:15-5:30. Football is a no cut sport. Soccer
Freshman Soccer tryouts will take place August 11, 12, 13, and 14. On August 11th, players will meet at 3:30 in the stadium bleachers (dressed in running shoes and workout clothes) and tryouts will last from 4-6 PM each day. Our Head Freshman Coach, Aldin Markicic, and his staff will run tryouts. Players should bring all their soccer gear to each day of tryouts as well – shin guards, soccer socks, cleats. Freshmen will try out and practice by the water tower grass area located by our back baseball field. All of their home games for the fall will be on the turf field. Rosters will be announced by our Freshmen soccer coaching staff at the conclusion of tryouts on August 14th. Practices for players who make the team will begin on August 15th. Due to great numbers expected for tryouts, we anticipate moving to 4 levels for the fall season - Varsity, JV1, Freshman A, JV2.
