Top 5 lessons I learned

- Students have the ability to fully engage in an activity or lesson as long as we make it interesting to them.
- Over planning is better than under planning.
- Just because students do not ask question, does not mean they do not have them. Engage with them!

Looking back on it
This project was a wonderful experience I will take with me into my future classroom. It taught me valuable skills such as time management, communication, how to effectively engage with the students, and lesson planning.
This project helped me develop problem solving and critical thinking skills because it pushed me to find different ways in which the lesson could be carried out. Even though the content was fairly simple, finding ways to teach it in ways that relate to the students posed a bit of a challenge at first.
This project also helped me discover my leadership skills. I discovered I like to take initiative, and I excel at delegating. However, I do take a lot of pride in my work and so, I also discovered that I will go great lengths to make sure the work gets done whether others contribute or not.
