About Me

Originally from Colombia; by way of New York, I came to North Carolina to pursue my passion for education. I am a Secondary Mathematics Education major at North Carolina State University, as well as a North Carolina Teaching Fellow.

I have always loved mathematics, even the really difficult topics. I decided to become a teacher because I would like for my students to learn to love mathematics and see the fun in it. Mathematics are only intimidating if we let them be so, and it is my goal to encourage and motivate my students to master the content by showing them many different ways mathematics are useful in day-to-day life.
